Not really my forte in describing
myself.
However, I've been working in the live music business in some capapcity since 1982. I have successfully worked as a lighting director, front of house engineer, monitor engineer, guitar, bass, key and drum tech, stage manager, coach driver.
With all of that covered my other vocations have been in the "real world" (non-music related field). I'm a licensed merchant marine, licensed in two states to build, mend, bend, correct, color & cut hair. Personnel administrator and operations/project mananger.
I find the greatest source of enjoyment and accomplishment working in the music industry. Primarily because of the overall COOL factor. Yeah sure, cutting hair is cool. So is running a small/medium/large scale construction project. But at the end of the day I'm not getting on a bus with a framing carpenter and discussing the look of satisfaction on a bricklayers face as he watched your hammering prowess of a 4' knee wall......
Nuff said..... Oh yeah!
